Wall paintings ( Street Arts )... classic buildings... all repainted & refurbished... there is a peranakan museum there too... there are hidden entertainment & foods inside those buildings... can check them out.
Formerly sculpture square - I honestly think Objectifs has done a much better job with the space. Besides photography exhibitions and talks, they also have film screenings sometimes. Follow them on Facebook and peatix for updates.
Surprising find. Not common at all to have artwork at the void decks of hdbs so interesting. There's also artwork in the surrounding blocks but this has Van Gogh's artwork and stories about his art and his life. Interesting....ps from an australian tourist
I have been to two of the art tours hosted by Artwalk Singapore and both experiences have been fun, interesting and very enjoyable. My guide for both tours happened to be the same guide, named Richard, and he is a very wonderful, friendly and humorous person. He is very knowledgeable about the different murals and art installations around Singapore as well as Singapore’s history. I learnt a lot of interesting facts about the arts by listening to him during the tours. Highly recommend people to join the art tours and experience it for themselves! Would definitely go for more tours in future!
