Reviews from visitors:
Beautiful location both in the winter and summer. Good food and service at a reasonable price.
Very very cold water. The walk is rather long (about one hour to go down) and half of it is in the sun. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and sun protection
This is a popular beach on Sicily. There is a €15 per car entry fee. Lots of parking. There is a pay restroom and showers on site.
The cliffs are popular to jump off of. This requires a hike along narrow ledges. Do not jump off of the closest cliffs. You will break something. Get someone who has been there before to guide you the first time.
The beach is nice, but not special. It gets VERY crowded. Be sure to bring your own shade, this isn't a lido, so no shelter is provided. The slope of the sandy bottom is gentle, with a long wade out before you get too deep to stand. The surf is generally small and gentle. I have only seen up to 3 foot waves.
Even if officially closed one can still go over the gate. Good 45 mins down a rocky path. The scenery is breathtaking. Water in the pools is clear an fresh. A bit of struggle going up. Took 1 hr 15 mins with a 5 year old. Be sure to have good shoes and plenty of water.
Amazing park. Great hike available.
