Reviews from visitors:
Lot of pots, statues and artifacts in pre christ era. If you're into this thing you'll sure like it.
Simply amazing. I've seen many museums of ancient artifacts all around the world, from San Jose to Berlin, and this one remains one of my favorite and a bit unexpected. A must see for anyone passionate about the ancient world.
We had high hopes for this visit after the description read about it being one of the best in Europe. I have to say we were a little disappointed, the collections are extensive, but there is some much repotion and nothing to really bring the info to life or build stories about the time when it had been found and what life may have been like. The other benefit we were hoping for was that on a very hot day the museum air con would help keep us cool but I'm afraid this was not the case clearly the collection here do not require strict temperature control. May be more suited to people with a keen interest I. Pottery or studying history
Nice if you'd like to get to imagine how the ancient people lived.
What an amazing collection of artefacts! They have incredible finds from the 7th century BC onward. I've seen maybe 30 museums in Italy and for archaeological displays this is by far the best.
