A nice market place but costly...shop with limits
Jamia Masjid is also one of the most visited site in Srinagar. It has a very huge garden and in middle there is a fountain.
The garden has been adorned with so many varieties of flowers. Most fascinating thing about this mosque which I personally liked is that there are a numbers of long pillars are established inside the prayer hall. The minaret has quite a perpendicular shape unlike to round dome shape.
Outside the mosque , there is a market. If you feel you can take a stroll to the Market.
Historical place. Beautiful design. 5 stars for the architecture.
And a minus 1 for its managing body. They don't allow female devotees to pray outside jamaat timings, even if one pleads them. This thing is ruining its true beauty
Well deserved place for Muslims
One of the most unique architecture I have ever seen of a mosque. It is more than 700 years old and is mostly constructed of wood. It is said to be one of the largest mosque in Asia and accommodates 33333 people for prayers.
