Reviews from visitors:
Good collection and famous interiors. It would be much better to give more light in the anfilade, maybe to open the shutters. Now it is very dark.
There is no access for disabled people/wheelchair to the larger part of the 3 museum complex, neither to the bathroom.
Part of the porcelain session is not accessible at all - access is closed, one can only see them from a distance from the groundfloor on the gallery upstairs. Another part is so dark - for preservation reasons - that after entering the hall one cannot see anything really - i wonder what is the use of exhibiting anything that one is not able to observe. The personnel was partly very unfriendly following us from such a close distance that it was already annoying, as if we were criminals.
very unpleseant experience - will not return. The Museum Œuvre Notre-Dame next door on the other side was absolutely worth the time.
The first time we tried to visit, it was closed, though there was no warning of this online. Returning the following day, many of the rooms were still closed. The rest of the place looked rather unloved. We may have picked a bad week to visit, but I am sure that the museum's grand interiors could be made more interesting than they are at present.
Quite boring and small. It’s probably interesting if you are fascinated by the French Ancien Régime and the lives of the royals, but not worthwhile. There’s no audio guides or in-depth explanations. Skip it, and go to the Museum de l’Œuvre de Notre Dame. Same price, but larger and better descriptions of the artifacts.
The museum gives you access to the nice part of Rohan Palace. Best option of the three museum in my opinion.
