The MCA is somewhere to visit 2-3 times a year to see what is new.
Beautiful place with lots of room to walk around. Lots of creative arts and crafts for all ages. One of the best place in the heart of Sydney in the Rocks. Central and close to the historical part of Sydney. Only downer is the cafe. Million dollar view but the offering very bland. Price for what you get can't be justified. Overall good place to take the kids.
It's free. It's very boring for the average joe and his family. I'd only go to tick it off my tourist list and because my Grandma enjoys art. It's mostly post-modern abstract art, which requires an acquired taste to appreciate. The terrace on the top floor has an average cafe, with some decent views of the Sydney Harbour.
An interesting museum of contemporary art. Eyes run up from such beauty. I advise you to come to the museum on a weekday because there are fewer people in the museum then. You will be able to consider everything in detail and slowly.
Lots of things to see at this and they also got cool events here! Great place to kill some time!
