The market is a beautiful place where you can find lots of good vegetables, meats, bakeries, restaurants and all sorts of shops. There's even a gym.
Minus one star because the selection of produce they bring is largely the same in all stalls. Produce is of good quality, but it's mostly imported.

Nice flight of stairs connecting the lower part of the city to the higher where the old fortifications are. Great panorama from the two platforms

A perfect café, tiny bar, and it used to be a party hub during the late nights (not sure if they still host anymore).
However, the museum is perfectly quaint, features local artists (mostly), and has enough to be worth visiting.

Legit the most interesting museum i've ever been to. I'm a student in the medical field and it was awesome. This is a MUST

One of the best viewing point over Tallinn old town, you can reach it from two different sides, with stairs or with a normal stones street.
Amazing view over the skyline also during cold winter nights with snow over the roofs.

There are so many unique buildings in Tallinn. I read an anecdote on the building before the trip. It's said the young gentleman wearing the eyeglasses looks at the window on the other building where his ex-girlfriend lives with her boyfriend. I passed by the building and didn't released it was it. Later I asked the local restaurant and he pointed me at the building.

When Rakvere started spreading out to the areas surrounding its castle during the Middle Ages, Pikk Street became its central concourse, and remained so for the better part of five centuries.
In the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, Pikk was the main street for business and trade in Rakvere, home to the town's bank, stores, restaurants and guesthouses. Strolling along the street today, you can pop into art and other galleries, handicraft stores and a church, treat yourself to a meal and settle down for a relaxing night in comfortable accommodation. Did you know...? - Despite its name ('pikk' means 'long' in Estonian), at 1182 m it is only the 17th longest street in the city - Rakvere's longest street, at 1916 m, is Vabaduse Street

The collection is not very rich but provides a good idea in general about Estonian history and national psychology. There is a pretty good collection of guns from 18-21 century, in the cellar.
12 Estonian Handicraft House

This is the only place to come for some hand-crafted Estonian gifts in my opinion. My understanding is that it is a cooperative of local textile artisans and there is some amazing stuff in here. Highly recommended!

Really modern museum and it's a perfect size. You get nice and interesting overview in sensible time, so it's a good idea to step in while having a walk in the Old Town.

Gallery with sculptures, paintings, and various objects. Several rooms, and a lot of interesting things.
Even the interior is curious, I attached a photo of the fireplace below.
I advise you to visit ☺️✨

Tiny shop selling hand crafted traditional products - mostly knitwear and some decorative items. Certainly not your average souvenir shop. Reflecting the hand crafted high-quality of the items the prices are bit on the upper end. However, there is a tangible good quality you can feel. In any case I would recommend to stop by just to get a feeling of traditional goods...

I loved it. Don't know if it is same for foreigners, as I am Estonian, but it was so interesting to see how my home town developed. It took some time as the exhibition was big enough.

Famous place in the capital of Estonia. Old design makes such a great atmosphere. I’ve been there two times: in March and August. I liked both. You can see there some medieval monks or warriors walking down the streets. You can taste origin Estonian cuisine. Definitely will come back here. Like this review if it was helpful :)
