Can't miss this. If you want a great rundown of Albanian history within the last couple hundred year this is the place. Experiencing the atmosphere of the bunker was awesome.

ZETA Center for Contemporary Art is a non-profit exhibition space founded in 2007 by Valentina Koça. With its 150 square-meter area on the second floor of a mixed residential and commercial building at Abdyl Frashëri Street in the Blloku area of Tirana (zona Libri Universitar: between Santa Margherita Wine Shop and LC Waikiki Store), ZETA functions as an autonomous cultural venue for contemporary visual arts, including painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, sound, and performance. Besides exhibitions, ZETA also hosts educational programs, workshops and discursive events, in cooperation with local and international partners. Over the last twelve years ZETA has significantly contributed to the vitality and dynamics of contemporary art scene in Tirana, most notably with regard to young Albanian artists (such as Fatlum Doçi, born in 1991 in Shkodra, whose light-installation is on view at ZETA throughout the first half of June 2018, in the framework of this year's edition of Ardhje Award for Young Visual Artists from Albania).

Our greatest historical square that changed so many times his shape among years. But at least it's my best and most favourite square among all squares.
-There during sunny days, activities take places like fairs, concerts during celebrations days, meetings, exhibition events.
-There's no place to deal with criminal works.
-Under it, you can find a great "parking a lot" for only:
200L/-3 hours,
500L/3-8 hours,
800L/8-12 hours
500L/12-24 hours (day).

I absolutely loved and enjoyed my tour here. Everything is archived very well and good english speaking staff is willingly helping you and gives you a description for everything very well.
Besides the national heritage and historical paintings and sculptures from the communist era, you'll have here two contemporary art galleries.. the one I was inside was about rhe quick development of Tirana, urbanizing projects and on which costs and risks the labours are working. An interesting point of view, mostly not seen from anyone. Despite heavy injuries and low payments and bad sometimes without insurance at all the labours are still working.
I've posted here some of my favorite paintings and sculptures from the gallery.

Great coffee house for gathering and even working with colleagues for a prolonged period. Really setting themselves up to be a cultural hub with many events that they host.

Entrance is 500 LEK, roughly 4 Euros. I recommend around 3h to see everything. It's way bigger than it looks. A lot about history, really good sections explaining everything in englisht, totally recommend to visit.

The place is quite, cozy and you enjoy the time spend here. The interior is fantastic, well thought and very comfortable. This is one the best Bars in the new "Kalaja Tiranes" place. Location is absolutely great, within 10 minutes walk there are 5-6 interesting must visit places. I would highly recommend to anyone.

This museum is tricky to find! You can access it through the small street to the east (right) of the bank. We walked up four levels or so to the museum— there was also an elevator but we weren’t sure which floor to choose.
Once we found it, we enjoyed this small but interesting museum— the collection is eclectic and includes modern art by Albanian painters and also ancient Illyrian and Albanian artifacts. The staff was very friendly and even offered us our choice of water or coffee.

The nicest products in the capital! There is no shop like them in any part of Albania :)
I do my best to keep this list as up-to-date as possible. I last updated it in November 2024. If you know of a street art that should be on the list, let me know. Click here to contact me. Thanks!
