the best hostel in europe hands down. lovely family that runs the place. charming staff i mean when i was there the dude that was working there was traveling around europe ON FOOT!!!!!!! lovely place i recomend to anyone viositing TIVAT
It was a weird stay during the Covid crisis as there were only 2 other guests and me. But both Ivan and Maja (the owners) were really nice and helpful.
Make sure to order some local food cooked by Maja, it was amazing.
Would recommend 100%.

I'd rate this hostel as one of my favorite for my entire European tour. The owner is a great guy, the evening meal is a delight as many of the guests come to join together and eat. Plus the price is very reasonable.
Amazing place!!! Masha and Ivan are very nice hosts. We feel ourselfs on our own house. Very nice family atmosphere. They have a living room with music instruments, bar and sea view.
Also amazing location. Next to the beach and at the mountain with nice archeologycal sites around. The rooms are big and also with sea view. Amazing Terrace where you can have a good meal enjoying the view for the ocean.
I stayed here for two weeks and had a great time. The staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating. The place has a cozy feel and great views: the bay on one side and beautiful hills on the other. They have a rooftop terrace and on a clear night you can see every star in the sky from it. The hostel is walking distance to the center, or if you get tired just 1€ by taxi. My room was clean, bed comfy, and I absolutely love their little dining/lounge area. My stay there will be cherished and remembered for a long time, and I am not sure how anyone can give them less than a 5 star review. I’ll definitely stay there next time I go back to Montenegro. If you want a Ritz Carlton hotel feel, then stay at a five star hotel and pay the five star price. If you want to submerge yourself in the culture, meet some great people, and have a great time in a comfy place without breaking bank, then I highly recommend hostel Anton.
