We were very impressed with the process of hiring a car with Sixt in Tivat, Montenegro. First and foremost the customer service was 5 stars!
A very warm and friendly team, who definitely put the customer first, which is rare for hire car companies. We needed to extend a few times due to change of travel plans and it was seamless each time and were happy to do everything online, they were also very understanding when we delayed our dropoff due to weather conditions.
The car was very clean, ver reliable and all pre existing damaged was documented to avoid any confusion on dropoff. We ended up having the car for one and half months.
The process was very efficient and the staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with each time.
Definitely recommend using Sixt for your car hire.
Apparently the "FULL coverage" is not including the windshield - they charged us 450 euros for windshield which costs 91 euros in Renault Montenegro + 50 euros installation fee. That was the highest priced damage catalogue that I ever seen - instantly deducted from the 700 euros deposit which was necessary with the full coverage. I understand that the rock fell on the windshield caused damaged but the 3x pricing for the service is more than a ripoff.
We had an excellent experience with Sixt at the Tivat airport. The car was clean and ready for us. We had no issues. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks again to Ivan and Branislava for a seamless experience!
I had a flat tire after few kilometers on the road. they were available and efficient to first try to fix the tire and finally replace the car when they realised it wasn't possible. Thank you to the team!
