Reviews from visitors:
Small, free gallery housed in an old bathhouse. Only 2 rooms, 7 pieces. It’s nice but I wouldn’t catch a half an hour train there like I did. Look for other things in the area to do at the same time.
My hobby is contemporary art walk in Tokyo and this gallery is always on my list. It is in the area where old writers and educated people lived and its culturally and historically important.
If you like the gallery, I recommend you to visit Scai park in Tennozu (Shinagawa area) which is the related gallery. Its in a building called Terada art complex which is former warehouse and really cool!!
Took me 30 minutes to get there and all that was on display was a lit up white table. I expecting more than a white table. I'm not exaggeratin. Maybe it was an off season? The lady who worked there was really friendly. That's the only reason I have it 2 stars ☹️
It is a small gallery. I live the renovated entrance with small lockers. Beside the 'stamp-poem'- artist, the other work didn't attract me. But it's changing so give it a try and get surprised by what they offer at the moment.
the gallery is closed between exhibits- next one is January 24th 2020:
