Reviews from visitors:
Walking into this beautiful studio I was greeted by none of the employees or even acknowledged with eye contact. Signed up for a workshop where the direction to make ceramics for the first time was excellent from Hillary AND THEN the French intern slowly ruined the experience for my friend and myself with her rudeness and clear disguise for human beings in general. At the end of class she criticized the amount of water in my creations as if I knew how much was too much IT WAS MY FIRST CLASS! Continuing on to my work station that apparently wasn’t clean enough...AGAIN...first time ever a little direction would have been nice especially since my friend and I cleaned up several work spaces belonging to people that DIDNT EVEN COME BACK AFTER LUNCH! Then, the glazing I discovered was not included with the price of the class, totally felt like I was nickled and dimed...accompanied with a sense of irritation and an eye roll the intern reluctantly assisted me seeming quite put out that I even existed on this planet. I was told to come back in two weeks to pick up my items. I went back and they were closed for a private event, fair enough but would have been nice to know as I AM A PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS LIVING IN BALI and would have LOVED to have taken the figure sculpting course. Moving on... so, I go back again and they were closed during business hours...no sign no nothing...I go back a third time exactly one month since my class to be handed one of five items I had submitted. Three staff members looked everywhere for my items...I found one cracked on a shelf and the other three have somehow disappeared into thin air. No apologies or anything I was just told to come back again today. I told them that I live quite far and can’t come back again. So, the task of finding my items has been passed to the intern that OBVIOUSLY hates people and now I sit...waiting...no call, no solution, no NOTHING . Sooooooooooo disappointing to see such a beautiful creative space completely wasted by disorganization. It’s 2pm now and I was supposed to receive a call at 8am. I have tried to call and the phone number listed doesn’t work, there’s no email, no website, NOTHING so now I’m forced to write this review in a last ditch effort to reach ANYONE at the studio that can find my items or give me a refund for the 500,000RP I spent on this “class”. I’ve been managing business FOR YEARS and have not seen anything so disorganized. The lack of customer service is trumped only by the complete ignorance of transparency.
Attended a workshop here. It's an incredibly beautiful space to learn and make ceramics.
