Dawn and John are a pleasure to work with. I frequent Vail and to capture some of that feeling here at home in New York is truly enjoyable. These photos are art and the framing is up to the elegance level. I met John in Jackson Hole one summer. He explained how he goes out far where nature is pristine he waits for the perfect moment- often at dawn or dusk. The lighting, clarity, depth of field and framing are impeccable. Do yourself a favor invest in this beauty it is timeless.
I can't give it 5 stars, because my review is not tradition, nor all-encompassing of everything this artist and business stands to be. My review is a bit of a story. We got married in September 2017 and rerouted our honeymoon plans from Puerto Rico (due to hurricanes) to CO. We had not planned for CO, so we had little idea of what to do and see. We rented a car and headed to Vail (CUTE TOWN!). From the first step into the gallery we were amazed at the beautiful, skillful and inspiring work of John Richter. His work was what made us linger for a while, observing what Colorado is truly. Our experience with the folk at the gallery was what made me right this review. John (not Richter) welcomed us, asked what brought us in to the gallery and when we explained our story, he did everything he could to welcome us to CO. He went above and beyond to treat us with kindness which made us only feel REALLY good about spending a week in Colorado. He even gave us a poster!!! Which is just the perfect take-home item from a honeymoon! He continued after giving us the poster and sharing his excitement by opening up the computer and Google Maps- giving us some GREAT recommendations for our exploring hearts! This short moment, is one of our FAVORITE memories from the honeymoon. THANK YOU JOHN AND JOHN RICHTER! :)
Very unique and eye opening photography. The images seem to speak to the viewer. The outdoor images make you feel like you are actually there.
Wells its the biggest scam in vail history, never received my art, but got billed, 4k...be very carful people
