The Civic Museums Foundation of Venice (MUVE) deals with the management of the museum heritage of the city of Venice.
It was founded, by the City Council, with a resolution proposed by the Mayor and the Council, in the session of 3 March 2008. Defined by the operators and by the workers involved in the type of participation, it has a single founding member - the Municipality of Venice.
Since December 2015 the president is Mariacristina Gribaudi. Before her the position was held by Sandro Parenzo (until March 2010), David Landau (March 2010 - September 2010) and Walter Hartsarich (December 2010 - August 2015).

Venice: Piazza San Marco
Piazza San Marco, in front of the Basilica San Marco, is Venice's most famous square and serves as the political and religious center of Venice.
In Italy, the large square is called Piazza and the small square is called Campo.
In Venice, Piazza is the only Piazza San Marco, and Piazza San Marco is simply referred to as'la Piazza'.
Piazza San Marco, the heart of your trip to Venice, is a huge square 175 meters long and 80 meters wide.
The exterior of the Byzantine and Romanesque architecture is also beautiful.
Napoleon I (Napoleon Bonaparte) praised this place as'the most beautiful parlor in the world'.
The Civic Museums of Venice are a splendid and unmissable experience for any non-casual tourist of Venice. With a single ticket and the price after all, you can visit a dozen museums ... the only visit to the Doge's Palace would be worth it, so rich in art history as to risk Stendhal syndrome after a few steps. Then the Correr Museum, the National Archaeological Museum, the various Palaces in the center of Venice with other exhibitions ... splendid.
To visit absolutely.
