Reviews from visitors:
Went there a few years ago for a concert. It was fantastic with loads of lovely friendly restaurants and bars around the area open all night I believe. Great experience. Would love to go again.
This is one of the best conserved Roman amphitheatres, whose seating area is made up of 44 levels and can hold up to 22,000 spectators.
It is still in use today and is internationally famous for the large-scale opera performance. You will feel at first that you are standing in front of Colosseum. Extremely beautiful. Went here few years back and hope to visit the place once again in near future.
It was cool but a lot of building going on at the moment so not a very good view of it
Not able to go in.. Was closed but still.. Magical, romantic..... Beautifull in winter, we got there at dusk and the wet cobblestones made for amazing photos. Magical with huge Christmas tree..... Lovely!!
Quite impressive to observe Ancient Roman History, as the Verona Arena is actually a Roman amphitheater that was built by the Ancients in the 1st Century AD. Outstanding that it is still in operation today, for opera, rock bands, plays and many other interesting public events. This is in much better shape than the Roman Coliseum, it subject to neglect and vandals over the centuries. Some of us will be fortunate enough to be here for the closing ceremony for the 2026 Winter Olympics. Hope to see you there.
