We joined the offbeat tour and it was a fantastic way to get to know the city. Felipe was our guide and did a wonderful job, sharing lots of stories about the history of Valparaiso mixed with his own experience. Way to go!

We did the off beat Valpo tour with Pamela and it was awesome! A great way to see the city, learn about history, find some hidden gems, and better understand Chile overall. Excellent tour! I can't think of a better way to kickstart a trip to a new town than by taking one of these tours. For 3 hours, Amaru kept us informed and entertained as we walked through the colour streets of Valparaiso.
Definitely do this tour. Our guide Amaru was amazing. He had so much knowledge and passion for the town, and was particularly good at explainig the art, history and politics of all the places we visited. We actually joined the tour midway through, and we were kindly accepted into the group. They also have morning tours that take you to the cemetery, which I'm planning to try another day.
