A few times a month we like coming to the boardwalk. It's a nice walk along the beach even during winter months. The Neptune statue is a nice landmark. Often I will walk from end of beach to this statue and back for about 12,000 steps or roughly 6 miles
Such a nice family place to take pictures. There was a smashed beer bottle right in front of the statue, but when I cleaned it up, I didn't find anymore trash anywhere, which means that they take good care of the area. Some people suck, but good for you Virginia Beach for keeping your tourist attractions well kept!
Yeah, pretty big, cool statue of Neptune with various other sea creatures including a very cool octopus. Right on the boardwalk on the beach. Excellent sight to see if you're in the area.
Cool statue! Probably the best on the boardwalk. Looks especially dramatic during stormy weather but fun on a nice day too.
We return to Virginia Beach at least once a year and as a 4 generation Navy family it’s a must see every time we are there.
