While searching for antique stores, my husband and I stumbled upon this little gem. Don’t let this shop fool you. When you think you know what type of stuff you’re going to find, you quickly realize you’re wrong. Wrong, because there is a little bit of everything inside of those walls. It’s like all of the best things from your favorite home accent stores, combined with antiques, jewelry, and local originals pieces. As if the store itself wasn’t enough, the owner is delightful as well. From two guys that can admittedly be quite picky...we will certainly be returning.
One of the kind Christmas presents. We'll go back love the place
Cute store with multiple rooms of crafted signs, ornaments and small pieces of beach themed furniture.
This place is awesome. It's a large building with tons and tons of items for sale by local artists, wood workers, jewelry-makers, you name it.
There is a glass-enclosed display cabinet near the main entrance with a friendly lady usually sitting nearby to greet you and offer info if needed but otherwise, you are left to your own devices to wander into the various rooms (mostly themed with similar items) to find something.
They have it all: soaps, jewelry, wall decor, mugs, coasters, furniture, odds and ends. Some of it is really cool because it's repurposed stuff like bottle lids or cans into wall art.
Mostly it's beach and Virginia Beach specifically themed, so if you are looking for a little gift for someone, this is a great place to start.
On weekends during the summer they often have a tent out in front welcoming you to the store with some items on displace and water for your pooch in a bowl if you have one.
Parking isn't a problem at all - and it's close enough for walking around and enjoying the VIBE distract's wall graffiti art, ice cream, or a meal.
I can't believe I didn't know about this place before. Such an amazing place to just wander and look at beautiful things. It lifted my spirits and added to a very lovely afternoon. It is full of different products, art, jewelery and home items/ decor provided by various local artists. There were so many rooms to wander through and each room seen to keep a nice themed feeling.
I ended up with a gift for a friend and a pair of earrings for me. I also left with a plan to return when I have a me day and an looking for something enjoyable to do, or if I'm looking for a gift. I loved how nicely my purchase was presented in a little pink bag and each item carefully wrapped in tissue paper. It was just an example of an overall nice experience. The owner was also very friendly.
*I meandered in the first day shops were able to open during the Covid19 quarentine because I loved that the huge garage door was open and fresh air was a part of the shop. I felt like I could easily safely distance myself from any other shoppers and still enjoy my shopping experience, which was nice.
