The renovations are quite nice. It's a great park that offers something for everyone. If they had a concession stand or food trucks... they'd have a phenomenal set up. There is also ample parking.
After having a great lunch at Beach Pub we decided to stretch our legs. Was nice to see an area family's could get out and spend time together on a beautiful day. I live in Jacksonville FL and it would be nice to have an area like this. The parking lot was full and could use an expansion and an area for food trucks would be awesome. The 80 stairs would have been better with a place to get an ice cream afterwards overall was a nice place to visit.

Pleasantly surprised how nice it was here. VERY busy, but felt safe the whole time (COVID wise) masks and social distancing were easy to accomplish and we even had a picnic at the water side with only seagulls not following social distancing! Great birds and great picnic spot, but it is busy, but plenty of space to find your own spot.
Great park. From childhood to now. Always loved the breeze at the top of the hill. The park upgrade was amazing when I was a kid, I never used the old wooden one. Great place to chill out at.
