Lahaina Printsellers has a wonderful selection of work by Hawaiian artists. I purchased three canvas prints during a visit in February. Incredible shop and amazing experience! Alyce Valenta is fantastic! Huge thank you and many mahalos! I recently brought some visitors to shop and chat with Alyce; she blew us away with her knowledge. After days of diving wrecks, hiking and exploring, she captivated a few mid 20 and 30 year old guys during a vacation. She had us craving more information. Great company to work with. Exact same prints as the tourist galleries, but will give you advice on proper size of print for the wall along with mat and framing suggestions. They also know the best places to get your art professionally framed. Good prices, good advice, no BS.
Our first purchase was aluminum infused dye and it was so pretty we ordered other canvases throughout the house. The bamboo frames are also very cool for a unique touch to your home. This is now the only place I buy Hawaiian art from.
Wonderful store, so many maps and historical related things. The staff is amazing. If you ask for almost any map they will have it.
