20 years ago, the third time I was on Maui with wife and 2 kids were in Lahaina for an afternoon of food and fun visiting all the retail stores and art galleries. In one of the galleries a print of Jim Kingwell’s (a room with a view) was something I needed on my wall at home. Done deal. Many more visits to Maui and in 2019 my eyes spotted (Sweet Lahaina Night) hanging above his studio entrance and got that feeling again! Done deal. Every day the 3 panels put me back on the island for a few moments. Ahhh.

We bought a print here on our anniversary in 2004. It was shipped perfect and we still have it hanging proudly in our house! Jim is a great guy. He will chat with you and like many here, he is a laid back guy.
Definitely worth checking out his works. Probably find something you can't resist.
