Reviews from visitors:
On holiday from South Africa and was privileged to visit the National Gallery of Art
People, art, architecture and light interact to create one of the most vibrant public spaces in the United States at the East Building of the National Gallery of Art. The East Building was designed by architect I. M. Pei.
It was beautiful and has little of everything. The Cafè was good.
The scale of the building is amazing. Great place to view art
Impeccable selection of some of the greatest art in the world. Alexander Calder's mobile sculpture creates an amenable ambiance of inspiration. A MUST SEE when you come to the District of Columbia!
