Reviews from visitors:
This "temporary" White House is a very elegant home where exhibits, concerts, lectures, poetry readings, ballets are hosted and fine lunches and dinners are served.
Every room is elegantly decorated and in the spirit of Monroe.
The garden is a nice additio..
The Club offers membership to Artists and drawing/painting classes are taught.
A very pleasant place to visit or become a member.
A majestic house with a legacy related not just to James Madison's residence there, but his early months as President as well as it served as the US Executive Mansion while the White House was being repaired after War of 1812. Great facilities for socially distanced meetings, a small theatre, an intone meal with a world-class chef, a quiet courtyard, and endless stories of fascinating individuals!
What a surprising gem this place is... professional staffing... seamless bar and buffet service... surprisingly room but intimate stage area for an excellent performance... highly recommend!!
Great experience and loved the engagement portion from the artist. Would love to visit again very soon.
This Club is sandwiched between the White House and George Washington University. It is a private club but open to the public during certain hours. The historic building is worth the visit and you can visit certain rooms that have art hanging on the walls. You can also use the facilities for events. If you enjoy art and a quiet atmosphere this is a very nice venue.
