Worth a day visit.
One of the best Swiss ski resorts, and not only Swiss! Excellent slope preparation, fantastic view and scenic Matterhorn nearby, good cable cars (some are bit dated tho), grand ski area!
Definitely ‘must visit’ both in winter (for skiing) and in summer (for hiking)
Amazing views up there. I was soo happy that we can ski down all the way from the place to Zermatt village! We did visit the glacier twice when we skied there last week ❄️
Awesome place with great infrastructure, trails, views, whatever you want.
One thing that I didn't like, is that there is one hidden info. If you buy a half day ski pass it doesn't include the highest lift that takes you to the top.
Well, that's embarrassing in such a place.
Officially open until 16:30, but when we arrived at the Zermatt station at 14:45, we were told that there were no more cable cars going up that day. No mention of this on the website.
