I visited this shop in September of 2014. I got a pair of sandals and loved the experience. I wear them semi often and they have held up perfectly. They are still beautiful. I am excited to return this year (2020) and get another pair. I darkened mine with olive oil a couple times to darken the sandals and I love the look. If I remember correctly only some styles were available when I went. Is there a way to know which ones will be available or request a certain style to be available?

This was my one "must do" when I went to Athens. I mean who doesnt want shoes from a shoe god? When I visited the first time the shop was closed but there were people looking at me from inside. I figured break is break so came back later. When I came back I was passed a book of designs. I picked one and the man who wasnt friendly went and got a pre made pair. I tried it on confused as to what was custom. Then looked at some that were sparkling and totally unique. "Those" I said. The guy kind of scoffed and told me they were expensive. I tried on a pair and liked them but the service was so unfriendly that I didnt want to reward it with a higher purchase than I needed to. I bought a pair and the guy nailed them together and then told me id have to put clear polish over the nail heads. The shoes are nice and I appreciate the art but it certainlt wasnt the "dont miss" experience I had heard of.
