We went to a walking tour of El Centro, San Diego, and Getsemani. Kristy was our guide. She was very knowledgeable about the area and culture. I loved getting to try the local food and seeing parts of Cartagena I've never been before. I recommend the tour especially to new visitors of Cartagena. It's a great introduction to the city, but also even if you are already familiar with Cartagena you still might learn something new!
I couldn't recommend this company more highly. When I visited Cartagena in February this year Kristy, Miguel, and Catalina took me in like I was family. They are warm and friendly, super knowledgable, and really make you feel at home. They made me fall in love with the city and I feel like this is a company that really cares about its clients and not about making a profit.
I loved the walking tour so much I also contacted Cartagena Connections a few days later and they helped me arrange a day trip to the beach and gave me some really nice recommendations for where to buy souvenirs for my family back home.

Awesome tour! Wish I wouldn't have waited until my last days in Cartagena to do the tour. The food was amazing and Kristy was awesome!
We did a walking tour of the old town of Cartagena with Kristy. It was amazing! Kristy is a dynamic and super friendly guide! I'm not a huge fan of super historic tours with thousand of dates and names, so this tour was just perfect. We had of course few historic explanations of the city. But we also discover the local life, we learned all the anecdotes of the architecture, we tried street food, and we learned more about local dance and music. I highly recommend to do a tour with Kristy if you really want to discover the local life of Cartagena!
I have been to Cartagena 3 times now and thought I had seen most of what there was to see. I was wrong! Cartagena Connections (specifically Kristy) blew my expectations out of the water. My walking tour covered local street art, food, monuments, etc. with deep and respectful commentary on the sociocultual importance thereof. Would highly recommend!
