Breathtaking artwork. I'm an atheist but very spritually moved by these works. I struggle to reconcile the beauty of these places, the wealth of the church and the barbaric acts committed worldwide by the Spanish in the name of Catholicism. Weird huh?
This beautiful cathedral should be on every list of places to see in Cusco. There are guided tours which are very informative and interesting and include a visit to the catacombs. The art and religious artifacts are amazing. Well worth the small price of 15 Sols.
Beautiful and historical church made by amount of stones.
Nice place to visit and buy cheese, fresh meat, bread, souvenirs, etc. Clean and tidy.
Including 30 minutes English guide to 15Ps. You can see the pictures of the original works, the underground skeleton room, and the library of ancient books. Amazing value! I highly recommend it.
