Reviews from visitors:
Favorite place of pigeons, and undoubtedly for so many tourists!
A street market with restaurant, bars, shops, the Statue of Ivan Gundulić, fountain and the daily pigeon feeding ritual. Just before noon, pigeons gather on the roofs and wait till they get fed at 12 o'clock behind the statue of Ivan Gundulic.
I loved visiting market in the morning! Buying fresh figs in the summer....smells of freshly picked food.
The market is quite small and mostly same stuff repeated. Lavender, olive oil, soap, fridge magnets. We had left our souvenir shopping for Dubrovnik hoping to have better options, but in hindsight Split market was better. Still found some decent stuff like Salt mixed with spices in test tubes etc. If you have some time it’s worth a stroll.
The most colourful place within Dubrovnik city walls, vivid local market were you can still find organic fruit and vegetables.Best buy :sugar almonds, orange jam, dried figs, natural cosmetics,flowers...
