I loved the Drawing for Beginners class and was really surprised at what, with Tamar’s guidance and encouragement, I was able to achieve. Ignore the voice that tells you that you can’t draw and do this class. This was the first time that Tamar had taught this class online through Zoom and it worked really well. I look forward to future online classes with Tamar and, hopefully, some of my virtual Drawing for Beginners classmates.
I loved my online beginners class hosted on zoom with Tamar. So professional from beginning to end. I am actually it has ended, but look forward to joining a new class sometime in Spring hopefully.
The City Workshop Edinburgh is a real gem in the centre of Edinburgh! Tamar is a patient & skilled amazing teacher. Just in less than 1 year my daughter has developed she drawing skills so much. Tamar has a huge passion for art and has helped my daughter to build up her confidence for drawing. Thus if you want to learn and eager to practice, this is the best place for you.
My daughter has been working with Tamar for almost a year now, attending a 1-2-1 class every week. She has learned so much - techniques, materials, styles, hints and tips. It's fantastic to see how much she has progressed and how much her knowledge and capabilities have grown with Tamar giving her guidance and encouragement. Tamar has a lovely nurturing style of coaching and works alongside her students to create beautiful pieces of art. If you're considering an art tutor either for a child or yourself, I so recommend The City Workshop and Tamar. 10/10 and more.
I think I may have found a new hobby! Thoroughly enjoyed the class. Very relaxed and friendly. The teacher was great, 10/10. She explained what we would be doing and then patiently took us through the steps involved in producing a very useful leather case which has been well admired by friends and family.
