Reviews from visitors:
Very big and with an amazing architecture. You could totally spend a full day there. The first palace is the best in my opinion, the second and third was alright too. Garden are also beautiful and taken care of. A down side for me was the security, had to take the passport and ticket out for checking at every 15 min. Also the staff doesn’t speak English and can be an issue if there is an issue because you can’t communicate with them. Overall a lovely place to visit full of history. Adult ticket is 14€
I loved the small, quaint town of Granada. And the palace is a bit of a masterpiece in my opinion. A rockhound and amateur geologist myself, I was not expecting to see a palace and grounds built so artistically from only the various local rocks and stone at their disposal. Actually if you are paying attention, the whole country of Spain is a study of stone architecture. But this palace is very unique. If you are a fan of stone inlay walkways, then you will find miles of it here.
NOT a review of the palace as it is definitely a must see and very beautiful. Giving one star to the customer non-existent service as I booked ticket online and unfortunately had to cancel the whole trip to Granada. Tried calling a hundred times with no answer and in the end wrote an email explaining my situation and of course never received any answer. Money gone, tickets gone. Would have been nice if they offered at least to be able to use the tickets sometime in the future or something.
Very nice historic, well preserved place to visit, not to be missed while in Granada, also offers nice views of Granada. You have to be a bit earlier than the admission time as the time Nasrid palace is very precise. I recommend to go early in the morning, if you visit during the summer, to try and avoid the heat. Have the tickets and documents at hand as they will be checked several times while on Alhambra grounds and visiting different point of interest.
The place is beautiful! The Moorish architecture, rich in details, is impressive and fills the eyes! To access the Alhambra, you need to book a long time in advance and you must arrive on time. The place is big and it takes a minimum of 3 hours to walk, so go for tennis, take a snack (there's almost no place to eat inside) and take the map at the entrance (I forgot and went difficult to get another one) because it’s very easy to get lost inside. In addition, enjoy the view, which is wonderful!
