We just finished our Evening Walking Food Tour and we had such a good time with Christine. She showed us a variety of local dishes and explained us how they were done and told us the ingredients. Her explanations were detailed and very interesting. We even got a vietnamese coffee and could enter a local house where an old and very lovely lady prepared fresh and yummy food. My wife and I have done many different food tours and found that Christine was one of the best guides so far. She made sure that we would be always safe while crossing the street, was very entertaining and was always aware of whether we needed anything. At the end Christine brought us to play bingo which was very funny and we did a 20 min boat ride. I higly recommend booking this tour. Thank you Christine for everything :)
They arrange our trip to BaNa Hills- they took care of everything and were great.
Our family of 6 adults were in Hoi An for three days. One of our group found this tour, and it was one of best adventures of our 10 day visit in Vietnam (end of March 2019). We had an almost private tour, with one very nice solo traveler who became part of our 'family.' 'Gum', our guide was a terrific, energetic, and informative young woman. Her English was very good and she was very eager to answer all our questions. The food stops were all very good, especially at her acquaintance's home where we really were warmly welcomed and learned to roll our own banh cuon.
It was MUCH more than a food tour, as after dark, we strolled along the lantern lit riverside, got to participate in a folk game involving musicians, flags and matching word cards, and finished with a very tranquil boat ride, releasing wish lanterns into the river. Highly recommended tour!!
A-friggin-mazing! Best way to experience Hoi An and the delicious Vietnamese food.
I booked the private tour for my 3 kids (14, 9 & 9) and I. We had the best time ever!! 4 hours of food bliss. Zipped around on mopeds, drove down alleyways to local restaurants that we'd never find or know about. Ate amazing street food, had the best Vietnamese ice coffee. Went into the countryside, drove past the duck farm, the fields growing the veggies that make it onto our plates, the cows and buffalos. Finished off the tour by the river, trying to eat bbq pork, lemongrass clams in broth and crispy chicken but failing miserably as we simply could not eat any more food! Our guides were lovely. Kim, Li, Jackie & Angela. You guys were awesome. Your English is superb, your driving skills were excellent. I could not fault this tour. Best thing we did. So happy my kids & I got the chance to see Hoi An from the view of a local and to hear about the history of how the food is made, the families that have restaurants/cafes. Do yourself a favour. If in Hoi An or Nam Hai - do this tour. And go hungry!
We head a great experience with Emma and enjoyed the food tour very much!
The Bingo-Game and the Boat ride where also a really fun.
