Great show . A must see when visiting hoi an . Before the show many entertainments and mini show in the park ( consider spending at least 1 hour or more before the show)
Some place to dine casually within the park
Our family of 3 generations enjoy it from start to finish. The (massive) show was design to please the crowd and I think they did great job of being able to engage and excite people of all ages here. No its not the performance quality of Broadway but it certainly has the Disneyland/Universal Studio kind of vibes where you can just sit back, relax and be entertained. We feel it was well worth of our time, if not one of the best show our big family have seen together.
The show we saw was performed in the theater located in the Hoi An Impression Park. It was a worldwide famous real time show with the perfect participation of over 500 Vietnamese actors and actresses from different regions in fantastic costumes. The show was certainly gigantic and grandiose, which created a deep emotion in each of us. To our knowledge, the ticket prices are currently varying between VND 600K and 1200K per ticket. We highly recommend this Hoian Memories show.
For the non Asians reading this, theme parks in Asia are not what we expect. This is a small manufactured village which is primarily there to show you different parts of Vietnamese culture throughout time. You'll see a series of small 5 to 10 minute shows starting at 5 pm, dancing, performance arts, martial arts, and the highlight of the evening is the greatest theatrical performance I've ever seen in my life. An incredible open air set, at least two hundred performers, the lights, the sets, the music, just stunning. Don't let the pricetag scare you away (600k VND), worth every penny and you will never see something like this in the west. Incredibly happy my travel partner knew what Asian theme parks were and dragged me there, I cried twice just from the sheer beauty of it
I think the show is definitely worth to have a look! 1 hour and present Hoian city story from ancient to future. BUT Make sure you bring water and foods with you so you won’t have to waste your money on that shit(okay I’m being too exaggerated.)
