Definitely recommend everyone that lives in Houston or the surrounded areas to visit sawyer yards at least once. The energy is beautiful. They have open studios & a market on the SECOND SATURDAY of each month. It’s a great experience each time I go & I always leave very inspired from talking to artists
There is fun arts market every 2nd Saturday of the month, it's an environment built with the magic of art. You will find anything from little crocheted beauties by the whimsical artist to food and woodworking. It's always worth the trip.
I love 2nd Saturdays.. It gives me an opportunity to see wonderful art work and have conversations with the various artists. I am inspired by every visit

This complex is a key component in making the arts accessible thru an innovative repurposing of a former industrial site. Well worth including this gem in your schedule.
It was an awesome find! We had no idea all the studios where on the property. The art was wonderful. Definitely will go back with some time to look and enjoy...
