Reviews from visitors:
I have been a collector and friend of Edgar’s for almost 10 years. I have purchased a few pieces of Edgar’s work over the years and enjoy living with these beautiful pieces. My guests frequently compliment his work and several of them have visited Edgar’s gallery and purchase a piece of Edgar’s work for their own.
Edgar’s work is full of hope, love and promise for the future. These are some of the qualities that Edgar possesses as a person and an artist.
I always enjoy visiting his gallery and seeing his new works and spending some time with Edgar. I always leave feeling encouraged and renewed.
Edgar is a kind, fun and generous man. Those qualities and more, are visible in the paintings of this talented artist. The first time I saw Edgar’s paintings, there was one in particular that “spoke” to me. I asked my husband to come to the gallery and see if he could guess which one it was... he did a 360 and pointed to “my” painting!!! That day, we purchased our first piece of art as a married couple. For those who do not know Edgar or his work, I encourage you to visit his gallery and meet him!
I have been following Edgar’s work for many years! I bought several pieces in 2010-2011 and have been buying since then. He is an amazing artist who continues to create pieces that are so diverse in meaning, color, and texture, so I can’t resist adding to my personal “art gallery.” Edgar also does commission pieces, which he has done for me on two occasions - they are absolutely perfect! If you haven’t seen his work, you must stop by his studio or go to one of his many events. Hopefully you get to meet him when you do because he is an amazing person who is a joy to talk to and gives back to the community in so many ways!
I have been collecting art for many years but have never had a piece commissioned specifically for me. My experience with Edgar Medina was amazing. He listened to what my likes were and tailored my piece specifically for me with personal touches.
Edgar isn't just cranking out art. He took time with my piece and prefers to work on specific pieces when he is inspired.
I very much look forward to my next Medina.
I first saw Edgar's work years ago at local event he was showing and was immediately in love with his style and way he uses such dynamic colors and textures. Every time I would drive by his gallery in Montrose I was always amazed by his new work.
One day I decided to wonder in, and at this time I knew I couldn't secure a large piece yet but was excited to see there was small prints he had done that allowed me to start small at least with a piece of Edgar Medina.
Just recently I am exited to share that commissioned my own 48x48 piece from his "Translucent Series." Not only has it elevated my home decor with the vibrant emotions, but most importantly it makes me smile every day I see it.
If you haven't had the opportunity to see Edgar's work in person, you must treat yourself to truly see how amazing he his.
