A wonderful art space that pushes both aspects of curation and the concept of art. Kaalo.101 is one of the unconventional art spaces in Nepal. The works you will see here won't be exhibited elsewhere. A very comprehensive representation of recent works that have become hallmarks of Kathmandu's street art.

Wow!! I Booked the amazing momo mania tour for the first day of our holiday in Kathmandu in order to get more familiar with the streets and locations in this crazy city. I also wanted to do something which might entertain and interest my teenage son. Our tour hit the mark in every way. It was just such good fun!
It is difficult to single out the best part of the experience as it was all brilliant. The momos, of course, were delicious but riding around the narrow back streets with wonderful patient guides who were always happy to point out land marks and interesting locations and also explain them made this trip so fascinating. A little extra we had was drinking the best chai tea latte in a tiny tea shop with the locals while sheltering from the monsoon rain. The tea was the best I ever had and I plan to go back for more. I think the most memorable and outstanding experience was simply having the time to just talk to our lovely, friendly and open guides about their lives and culture as Nepalis - we learned so much. We had such a good time and will be going on the Villages of the Valley tour later in our trip. Can't wait! Thanks so much! Jane & Max

A must be place for Hindu people. A complete holy place and is full of devotees. People from all over the world, especially followers of Hindu religion come to the sacred place to offer their devotion to Lord Shiva: the creator, preserver and the destroyer.
On the occasion of MahaShivarati, the temple holds a special religious events and saints from the neighboring countries assemble to pray the collective devotion while the people also offer prayers and fast for the entire day. The temple area is considered to be very religious and sacred. One is not allowed to click photo inside the temple but can click from the outside.
