1 MAUI ART GALLERY
images
Great art gallery. The artist and owner Michael was a pleasure to work with. Everything in the gallery is original art, not run of the mill cookie cutter art you see everywhere. I found out that he was able to assist in collecting other artists that I was interested in well. Left with a koa wood watch, a resin sculpture, and a place to find whatever I'm looking for in the future!
2 Maui Fine Art - Gallery and Picture Framing

We met Chad back in 2016 when we were in Maui for our honeymoon. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and we actually shipped a piece of artwork home... Recently we had a small mishap with it and I reached out to Chad to see what my options were. He responded within less than 24 hours and now less than 48 hours we have a resolution and my husband is going to be happy. It’s so nice knowing that miles away, there are still business owners that stand by their product. When we do get to travel and go back to Hawaii, we will be making a stop at Maui Fine Art to add to our collection. And if you are in Maui, you should visit them! We found them initially at a fair where we were staying and later visited the showroom.

We saw the final performance of the Evil Dead Musical and it was awesome. The script/song writing, actors, props and especially the blood (we were sitting in the splash zone) was amazing. I can't wait to see what else this place has to offer!
6 Hawaii Gift and Craft

8 Kalama Skate Park

images
Beautiful warm water. We were there during low tide so you could walk out about 300 ft and still be up to your knees! So nice
9 Endangered Pieces

I was told about this store from a friend when I first bought on Maui but it was in a different location that wasn't as nice as this. I was amazed at how many cool things there are and I really love the new location. I keep going back and finding new things that I didn't see the first time. The owner seems to get different things in every day so if you don't keep up, you might miss something. He seems to care about making sure that you get what you are looking for. Very helpful. Great finds from vintage clothes, super high-end art, furniture and other little treasures. Have fun!

11 Kihei Craft Fair

If you look will find some nice local talent here.
Mostly tourist stuff but there are still treasures to find.
Check out Hexapress.
Killer hand made block printing, done by some really talented artist.
Support local talent.
12 Diane Snoey Appler Fine Art

images
Diane’s work beautifully captures the gorgeous views of Maui and provides an excellent remembrance of a lovely vacation you’ve had or a place you dream of going. Her work is easy to look at and technically very good. I have one original and one print that look great in my home. Also, I’ve purchased her greeting cards, which make neat gifts.
13 Kalepolepo Beach Park

images
Quiet shallow water, perfect for little ones. Wading, swimming, castle-building, you name it! And most importantly - turtle-watching. Those creatures are majestic! So graceful in the water, yet so clumsy on the rocks. Don't forget the tiny little crabs too! Spent a lovely morning there, suffering the consequences now, so do yourself a favor - bring sunscreen and use it!
15 Trinity Episcopal Church by-the-Sea

images
Great thrift shop.
A place to get quality bargains.
Clean, well organized and friendly.
16 Saint Theresa Church

images
Aloha, missing the Christmas beauty and message of St. Theresa's this year. Praying we all emerge from this safely, able to embrace the better times that are ahead. Also, mahalo nui loa to everyone for the prayers that helped me survive and recover from my heart attack and sudden death on 9/11/20.
17 Maui Photography

I did a half day sunrise tour with Doug while on a recent vacation to Maui. We stopped at about 5 different locations and Doug was a phenomenal teacher! My favorite place was Hookipa Beach at dawn. The cloud formations were spectacular, as was the scenery. We also were blessed to see several green sea turtles on this beach.
All locations we visited were different, and I enjoyed every one of them. I would highly recommend this tour to any photographer looking to improve their imagery!
18 The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center
