Reviews from visitors:
A bit small and packed with tourists. But a good place to visit if you like modern art
Drab. I expected much more from a museum of modern art, but I haven't been to the others. I went to the MOMA department store down town, and it was honestly much more interesting???
There are only two floors with art, one that is their showcase and the other is for temporary exhibits from what I understand.. not really worth 1000 yen, maybe 200
Nicely laid out art gallery, good selection of international and Japanese modern art. However only one floor was open but I still had to pay full price. Worth a couple hours of your time if you're around the area and enjoy modern art.
Beautiful building, absolutely tiny gallery, it felt like about 50 works on display. Lovely reading room.
Underwhelming.
Only one floor of collection when I visited and half that was shut. Apparently they have thousands of works but I saw about 100. I did miss the temporary exhibition by a day but was not fine art anyway.
Nice space inside despite weird 80’s kitch brutalist exterior.
