This is a new property. The rooms are really very small. View of the rooms on ground floor are either facing the restaurant or the street(which is better). The rooms on 1st and second floor are better but the story is same. No cupboard no fridge, etc. most toiletries are given only when asked. Room service is also bad as you have to ask for this 3 to 4 times and only then you get it. Breakfast is very poor when it comes to Variety and freshness. There are only 2 staff to serve you at breakfast which even makes the service pathetic too. Rest hotel are decent for a day or two. But for the price you pay you have a much better and nice options available in and around.
Very polite and well mannered staff great hospitality. Nice place to stay. A backpackers must visit place. Wonderful Paintings all over the property. Add on indoor games are available plus Library and dedicated place for book lovers.
Ambience is excellent. Service is good, sometimes a bit slow. View from the window isn't good as construction is going in front of our window. Overall very exotic, artistic place and worth a visit.
A very beautiful place to stay in lonavala with all the paintings and artifacts.
They offer common area with a small library and games like pool and carrom board.
It is advisable to have own transport facility as the property is in remote location.
Overall a good place for a day or two.
Also they have three adorable dogs, who will totally win your heart.
The Bark is really well designed, striking a tasteful balance between art and a good retreat. The place is sprinkled throughout with bits of art pieces. As a result wherever you sit you will always be treated of some art form or the other which makes up well for the time spent. The hospitality of the staff is warm and friendly. The food too at its price point is very good. As a stand alone hotel it is really a steal for the money at the moment. There are niggling issues of delay and quality in service but overall the food and the hospitality given by the staff far outweigh them and it irons out to be an enjoyable experience.
