Reviews from visitors:
If you want to have your framing done on time or at a good price you may not want to give it here. This is the second time that they have not delivered their work on time and charged me more than other shops in SF. I rarely leave bad reviews but I think I owe it to other potential customers. I supported this store because they are my neighbors but they are not that neighborly. :)
Frames were okay but it was a really tough experience. They didn't have much stock so they told me 3 days for two frames. On the third day they called me and said the frames were done. When I showed up, the second one wasn't done. I called the next day and they said they'd check and call me back. They never called. On day 7 I eventually got the frames, but only after another phone call convinced them to finally build the second frame. They came across as disorganized and unprofessional. Not worth the hassle.
Really disappointed with the recent changes here. We did all of our framing here for years to high satisfaction. Our last piece was an absolute mess.
We came in to have something framed to match a previous order, but they had lost track of it. We left the piece and called in with the exact measurements of the previously piece, which they failed to use resulting in the incorrect frame. They kindly agreed to fix it, only to lose track of the order for over a month; they only remembered it after we came in for the piece again, wasting another trip across the city.
We picked up the frame today, and the matting and dimensions are incorrect again. We decided to cut our losses and took it home.
This was such a wonderful store for so long. But after repeated failures, and getting a dozen stories about it from a half dozen employees, it just does not make sense to continue to patronize this business.
They did great job on my 12 photo frames - everybody complement their work. But this particular store even if it's business ours many times nobody is in the store - I had to visit three times then had to contact Valencia store to help me out
Beautiful expansive frame options + great customer service + nice to support a long-standing local business. I planned to get a print custom framed but the cost was outside my budget. As an alternative, they offered to build a custom frame for me and then I would be in charge of actually placing the print in the frame. The frame turned out beautiful and for an extremely reasonable price point.
