Reviews from visitors:
A small but mighty museum. Stone great artwork by Migishi Kotaru and young local artists.
The vibe of this location just takes you out of the whole city. Reminder, Sapporo is the 5th largest city in Japan. But when you enter this museum, there's this aura of peace that just makes you more appreciative of the small things, like the finer details within the paintings and creations within this museum. Not everything is translated to English, and hence its difficult to understand the context and significance of some of the displays, but it was lovely nonetheless. My favourite part was definitely the interactive artwork.
Beatiful museum and very friendly staff. Weather you like Migishi Kotaro's art or modern art in general is not so relevant as you will definitely learn something and find it interesting. The museum with wooden floor and large windows is nestled in a beautiful park and has an incredible atmosphere. Very different from the gloomy "Museum of Modern Art" close by which I didn't enjoy at all.
Great experience.
Very relaxing
