Reviews from visitors:
I love this museum! The exhibitions are mostly free and change frequently. The surrounding neighborhood provides a calming stroll and a museum visit can be complemented nicely with a visit to Deoksu Palace across the avenue. Currently, we’re stuck with coronavirus, so here are some photos of the street.
Seoul art museum is displaying Chun kyung ja artist’s artworks. Outdoor displays and other modern artist’s artworks are interesting, too. You need to make a reservation because of Covid - 19. I suggest going to Deoksugung road because it is close to the museum. And I suggest you go when the autumn leaves are pretty.
Really cool exhibits (got to try VR at one, but the motion sickness is real so skip that probably)
A stunning open space filled with thought provoking modern art. I loved the exhibitions on Palestine, very refreshing and unexpected to see. There’s a darling little cafe that serves a great grain latte and lovely biscuits on the ground floor, be sure not to miss it when you go. There’s no entrance fees and there’s bathrooms and lockers on the first floor (basement floor?) that are also free. There are stunning park views as well, it’s located right next to a palace so I’d suggest catching the daily changing of the guard while you’re in the area
Full of contemporary artworks. I'm not a fan of art but i appreciated this place. It has several floors you can visit and specific areas allow you to view clips of the artists and their works. Overall a unique and amazing art experience.
