You are humbled the minute you walk through the magnificent doors. The diorama of the Nativity in the bustling city of Bethlehem is breathing! Please say a prayer and light a candle for a loved one. Remember to make a worthy donation when you do. I must have blessed myself a dozen times before leaving. ♥️
My review is about the piazza in which the Cathedral is located, I did not visit the cathedral from inside.
The piazza has amazing cafe and restaurants where locals offer customer service that matches their amazing food reviews. We had lunch at walking distance from the cathedral, and then got coffee and pastries from a cafe located next to the cathedral.
The cafe had seating in front of the cathedral to enjoy the coffee and goodies which was very welcome.
While we enjoyed the coffee, I saw a few locals visit the cathedral. We were too mesmerized by the serenity of the entire experience to get up and explore though.
I highly recommend this area as a vacation option to consider. You will be mesmerized!!!
Beautiful church in the heart of Sorrento. You can find a real 3D Christmas installation inside. Angels, people, buildings, and landscape they all are crafted with some materials and look so real. There are so many details that you can contemplate this scene for a long time
Beautiful Cathedral, very peaceful and conducive to prayer. Several shrines to various saints and very ornate, although I don't visit for the architecture or decor.
Walking street in the centre of Sorrento. Car parking underground before the main square. Price 2€ per hour. And you can be not worrying about your car. Enjoy the shops, cafe and restaurants.
