Largest collection of amphoras I've ever seen: from enormous rainwater collectors to miniature perfume vessels. Some of the pottery contains depictions from Greek mythology. Besides amphoras, they have a skeleton with the signs of anti-vampire ritual: the remains were pierced with either a bar in the heart to make sure that the dead will not rise from the grave as a vampire.

A nice exhibition about the ancient past of Sozopol (Apollonia).

A lot to learn for this very old city founded 5th c.B.C. like Apollonia -Thracian,Greece,Roman fortress ....
