One of Holiest place in Kashmir valley. This is very old temple and people come to visit here from different part of the world. You are not allowed to carry extra things to temple like electronics things so make sure you keep them somewhere safe. Photography is also restricted here. You cant take any photos of place. Shankaracharya temple can be visited by both road and trek. I think you should prefer trekking because it is short and it also add nice experience to your visit. From here you can see complete views of Srinagar city.
This place presents the aerial view of the city... Most parts of Dal are visible.
The road is easily accessible.
The mobile phones and cameras are not allowed inside the temple. The counter for keeping such things remains closed in winter.

It's one of the most sacred place for Hindus in Kashmir. From here,you get to see full view of Srinagar city
Really Peaceful place....mahadev temple is up there..... i can't forget the vibes that i felt there... and one of the Best part is the view ... You can see the whole Srinagar from up there... 200 stairs takes approximately 20 mins .... i would suggest everybody to visit it ....
