This is only open in April for 15days this is situated in the Srinagar city Jammu and Kashmir
Beautiful piece of land guarded by a majestic hill. Unfortunately the place looks gorgeous only for a month at the most, when the tulips are in full bloom.
Floriculture department of Kashmir has failed largely to maintain such a beautiful landscape. Some of the pics which indicate the desolate autumn view of the garden.
Tulip garden could serve as a place of attraction for the entire year if the officials paid extra heed by planting different seasonal flowers like chrysanthemums, lilies and roses.

The season begins in March, followed by hyacinths, narcissus/daffodils and tulips at the end of the month. The tulips season extends until the end of May when the IG Memorial tulip closes. Mid-April is probably the best time to go as most of the flowers will be in full blossom!
Amazing place.
Best timing to visit. Early morning before 9 am.
Avoid visiting after 2 as it is very congested after that.
