Very poor customer service, over priced, odd layout, private beach is miles away you have to pay for it and it's worse than the public one 5 mins walk away...
It was clean, good finishing touches and nice pools. Not worth the price.
Room was clean and breakfast was decent. Shambolic amneties for a five/four star resort. Not a single iron in the hotel and only option was an 8 euro laundry service (for a single shirt) which you'll only get back the next day. Had to get creative. Shower head didn't function, AC has to be turned on by reception and had to walk down for each request as phone didn't work. Staff were nice, friendly and extremely helpful. Also shuttle service to taormina was a nice touch.
I am really not used to the 5*treatment but if this is anything to go by, I am converted for life. I do not like spending €5 on a bottle of water but it was worth spending that amount on a cup of tea just to see it presented in such a fashion. It came with slices of fruit, dark chocolate pieces, fresh mint and rosemary and even cinnamon sticks. My friend and I did not know what to do with the cinnamon but she did try to chew a piece. I explained that you did not need to eat wood! Sorry, I digress but it was a funny moment between friends.
Breakfast here is stunning. Champagne if you wish, honey presented on the honeycomb, gradually dripping into a bowl, warm fresh bread, hot and cold buffet. Mouthwateringly good.
Bedrooms quite spacious and lovely.
Absolutely fantastic hotel. The rooms clean and spacious.. The pools wonderful, the food delicious. The staff very helpful and friendly. The mini bus to Taormina was useful, David the driver was so funny! The only recommendation for improvement would be to have another coffee machine... Always a queue! Thank you for an amazing week.
We stayed at this hotel because the ones at Taormina were fully booked (August), no regrets!
The room was big and the bed comfortable, bathtub & shower clean and spacious.
The breakfast was good, the only thing I can suggest it’s to put another coffee machine cause at peak time we had to line and wait like 5 minutes...
The location is perfect if you have a car as Taormina it’s only 10 minutes driving.
