These are some nice ruins. I went here on a tour bus and was satisfied with my experience. My tour bus parked at the tour bus parking, so I got off and walked to the entrance of the ruins. I waited in line for a bit before getting into the ruins. I walked around the ruins and the entire group of ruins. There were lots of ruins and a couple of completely preserved buildings, which were pretty cool. From the ruins, you could walk down to a beach by the ocean, but I didn’t do that. After I walked around the ruins, I left, satisfied with my experience. I gave these ruins five stars because they’re well preserved.

Gorgeous and unique gifts both small and large. Found luchador masks, wrestling figures, ornaments, and lighters with Mexican graffiti art. Muy bueno

The pictures you are seeing are no longer renders. This place is beautiful. With hard working individuals that try their best to make your stay in tulum a better experience. The restaurant is amazing. They coffee is like best in town. Mariano would be the guy that assists you in your stay and he goes above and beyond, day and night, to make sure you get what you need. This place is very safe with how many securities that have in place. Location is also the best, right across the major supermarket and on the Main Street. Not noisy at all. Anna is a great host that helps you with your tours, she is very knowledgeable to the area and has tons of connections with local tours. I only wish they had a laundry place here.

I really loved the unique jewelry this place had. The lady working there made us feel very comfortable and gave us the freedom to try on what we had interest in with out being over controlling.

This is a great place to visit. It can be a little crowded at times but the place is big and people can spread out and so it's not too bad even when there's a lot of people there.
Being the only Mayan ruin on the coast makes it really a spectacular site. I highly recommend taking a boat tour and seeing the ruin from the ocean as well because it's quite impressive.
When we were there the beaches were closed because of the sea turtles hatching but the beaches looked absolutely beautiful along the ruins.
The road going up to the ruins is closed and so they have you parking about a quarter mile away and walking up from there but it's not a bad walk.
When you get there they're going to be people trying to flag you down and getting you to park at their property and sell you different tours but you don't have to do this. you can simply Park and walk up to the site and pay for your ticket there at the gate. We felt like we actually got a good enough deal from the guy where we parked that it was worth our money to pay for parking and the boat tour and our ticket to the ruins all the same time but we had to negotiate to get the good rate.
if the beaches are closed when you go to the ruins you can go to the beach just down the road from the ruins within the same parking lot and enjoy a great beach experience there.

What a great experience. We didn’t want to waste time or energy figuring out how to see cenotes by ourselves. Tulum Bike tours came through with the transportation, the bikes, the historical/cultural knowledge and the insider info that allowed us to just enjoy the adventure. All of this at an amazing price point. The groups are small enough to ensure you get personalized attention throughout your trip. We chose the Jungle Bike Adventure but there’s a great menu of options (which we will be back for on future trips).

This place is incredibly stunning. It’s also very tasteful and not over done. It’s like a little boutique hotel/holiday rental. There are two buildings but they’re attached so it’s easy to go to and from the stunning pool area or the hot tub. The bar wasn’t open when I was there but I’ve heard it’s incredible. I would absolutely book back there again.

This is a beautiful art installation which reminds me of Gaudi but in the jungle.
Some may be out off by the cost ($10 pp) but if you have the time I recommend it. There are a couple spots I would have really enjoyed meditating in.
11 Art Hotel

New and stylish hotel with spaceous rooms including AC in the rooms and a swimming pool. Unfortunately some rooms are located towards a main street with a lot of traffic starting by 7 AM. Breakfast is served in different cafes for which you get vouchers at the reception. Breakfast quality was very good.

Cute place at reasonable prices serving up at least great vegetarian soups inbred. Many other vegan and vegetarian dishes. Other people said it was great. Well located just off the main Boulevard.
I do my best to keep this list as up-to-date as possible. I last updated it in August 2025. If you know of a street art that should be on the list, let me know. Click here to contact me. Thanks!
