Very beautiful territory surrounded by jungles. Exhibition is really interesting too. Every picture has a description on english. Very quiet place to rest and learn Indonesian culture and art. Also you can have one free tea and a snack with your ticket.
They had discount, so ticket fee was only 85k for 2 pax. Good place to visit when you're in Ubud area. You can enjoy Balinese painting heritage of mahabharata lore. There are also some paintings that are available for sale.
The place is good and safe. Ready to serve the visitor.
As a westerner I was not at all prepared for the style and substance of Balinese art but this wonderful place had a vwry welcoming atmosphere and so many great things to see! Its so different from anything else I have seen and it was amazing to see art from the year 1792 all the way to 2020! Also a buffet was included with admission and the food was *delicious*.
so quiet and nice. the art is bit "neglected" but still in a good condition. we got a free meal at the resto. the food is good.
