If you like nature, definitely visit this place. It's a semi-natural forest acting as a conservation place for monkeys, and is considered sacred by the natives. Monkeys here are tame, but pay attention to the precautions (monkey climbed my husband's shoulder trying to snatch our water bottle - our mistake, we were told to put the bottle inside the bag, but we forgot). There are other facilities like toilets & cafe, they are clean & are managed professionally.
I come here at 20 Des , However do make sure you have no loose items the monkeys do steal things. Just common sense needed
By far one of the coolest natural monkey forest. I question why there are not more monkeys spread out in the larger general area. The answer is food, the locals feed the monkeys daily so they don’t need to go far. If your in Ubud go to the Sacred Monkey forest.

Wonderful place to spend some time with a little monkeys! Just be carful and do not feet them. Since ITs not all of them are small and cute , some of them might be big and aggressive! especially If if you are hiding the food!
Temple is very big and it will take some time to explore! they have a restaurant near the entrance as well!
The fees is quite cheap and It usually very crowded!

Love this place. Monkeys are so funny but take care for you bag and don't put anything in your pocket as there are always curious little one who would check on.
