I was highly amused to meet the Artist,who was professional painter.I took selfie with him and talked about his paintings.His paintings were really amazing.He teaches in Locky art school. I love art and respect the artists because art is everything.
Really huge collection of art and sculpture pieces compared to any other stores in Udaipur... Just ho here if you want to buy really genuine marble / metal sculptures... Just don't waste time on other stores or don't listen to your guides or drivers suggestions.. most of the other stores are giving huge commission to those references...
Here the price is as high as the other available stores in Udaipur but its up to your bargaining power to get a better deal... Usually you may get 15 to 25 percent depends on your bargaining skills and depending on the products you choose
I’ve just spent an hour in Gallery One with Rajesh and learning about his work (of course I bought a piece). It is lovely to meet an artist so passionate about his work, and not someone simply turning out more tourist tat. Definitely worth a visit to meet this talented man, even if the work isn’t to your taste he is still very interesting to talk to.
Definitely a good shop to buy your miniature art paintings, they had many options to choose from. The owner and his son were very well mannered and patient while dealing with us.
The prices were reasonable and the quality was good. He was frank about pricing and craftsmanship and was informative about his paintings.
Overall, I would recommend you stop by this shop to buy art pieces.
Wao. A great example of Indian Royalty and Grandeur. It is a huge area though some part has been converted to hotel and some into private space, still most of the part is open for public visit. It is really kept beautifully preserved and still many things can be seen here which gives true picture of the royalty of the then rulers!
The palace is very beautiful. If you are seriously interested to know about it, do hire a guide and listen to all the beautiful stories, you will enjoy the place all the more. The sculpture section is very interesting and painting collection is also very amazing. You need to kerp at least 3-4hours for palace visit.
Best shop to make gift in Udaipur for others and ourselves. He has not many products as his shop is modest but all are really beautiful !
Also, for French peoples, the owner speaks very well French as he lived in Bordeaux for few years. He is very kind and honest. We spend more than 1 hour to talk about France and India, it was really a nice moment !
Cherry on the cake : this guy is really trustful ! I forgot my camera in his shop and he spent 1 hour and half to look for me in the city in order to give me back. He finally made it and I’m really happy to write this review !
It was a very unique experiencen to have a private cooking class at Renu's kitchen and then eat it with her whole family! I learnt not only how to make authentic Indian food with natural ingredients but also a lot about the Indian culture. Renu is an amazing women with a huge heart and many stories to tell. She also makes beautiful heena and sells a lot of jewellery made by her husband. Unlike some stores they're very honest and have good prices. Totally recommend!
